Fall OOTD ; Burgundy & Military

Oh, how I have missed sitting infront of my Macbook and talking about fashion. The last couple of weeks have been hectic to say the very least. It's all starting to slow down, which makes me overjoyed. I have decided that I really want to spend more time on my blog. I plan to update at least once a week.
I am starting training at a new job where I can actually dress fashionably ( I could not be more excited!)  So there shall be a lot more interesting fashion post going on here! Also found my camera, So I will be asking the boyfriend to escort me and take pictures!

All rambling aside... Heres a casual but trendy outfit I put together! I find that coloured pants are a staple for me. They are easy to style, but they look so great!

Fall is finally here...

The crispness of the air is finally back, the beautiful coloured leaves are falling from the trees and it's finally time to layer. I absolutely love fall. It is the most beautiful season, everything seems a lot better. From food to fashion.

I can finally lay in bed with a cold nose and warm feet. Also my birthday is in October so I get excited about that as well. I love layering my basic spring/summer pieces with thick fun sweaters and chunky scarves. I also adore Starbucks drinks in the fall. It's such a treat to have a tasty salted caramel mocha (My favorite) to warm your tummy as you're walking down the street.

So this post has very little rhyme or reason, Just a simple Happy fall.

Here is a warm and wonderful outfit. Might do a post on it.
Pastel green in fall. Love it.

Maxi in the fall

Hi all! It's been a while since I have had a chance to update my page, but I'm so glad I'm taking the time to do so! I have been so busy with work and my new internship, plus my birthday was Monday!!

Anyways heres the outfit I wore out to run errands today before I had to throw on dress pants for my oh so glorious job.

I am totally in love with burgundy this fall. It's such a warm and "fall" color. Most of my new fall pieces are in burgundy! This sweater and rings are from H&M, skirt is from Urban planet, boots from Little Burgundy's and I got this watch at Value Village... It also doesn't work, but I adore it. Also, it was $2, so I can't go wrong.

How is your fall going so far? I feel like it's almost half way done! I don't want winter to come yet!

End of August OOTD

Hi Ladies! So here's a super quick OOTD. I just went out with some friends to kensington market then went to Sneaky Dee's for some nacho's. (If you have never been.... to either, go right now!!!)

It was hotter then I thought it was going to be, but at night I needed my jeans, or else I would have frozen. I am totally in love with the colour of these skinnies and think they add a little something to my otherwise neutral wardrobe.

Just a simple day, but those are the days I love the most. How was your day today?

Favorite vintage/ thrifted pieces of the moment

Thrifting has to be one of the best ways to add unique pieces to my wardrobe (in my opinion). To me it is absolutely thrilling to walk into a store and have no idea what you will find. Even if it is a vist to the store where you walk out empty handed it is still an experience all in it's own to inspire your visual and creative senses. Then if you want out with a bag full of new and interesting things, it's a lucky day. So here are my current favorite pieces!

First off is my vintage jean vest. This is probably my best find ever. It is so versatile an such a staple piece for spring/ summer. Also it will transition nicely into fall with a sweater underneath it. I have paired it with a light pink floral tank and high waisted cropped pants. But it goes with everything and just gives it a vintage/ edgy feel.

I adore this sweater. I purchased it at a value village, same goes for the next piece. It is warm one of those sweaters that is perfect to dress up or down and is just right for any weather. It has a bit of a print on it, but I think it just adds to the charm of the sweater. I will usually wear this with something high waister because it is just a bit short. But in these pictures I'm just wearing it with some floral shorts.

Lastly is an accessory, a belt in fact! It is a really basic thing to have, but when I seen it I knew I had to have it. Unfortunately it is very tiny and I am only able to wear it with things that are high wasted. So here I am wearing it with a nude silk tank top and this sheer maxi skirt. I think it really adds a vintage look to any outfit also the gold hard wear is an added touch.

These are just some of the many pieces I own, but I am wearing this so much right now and will very easily transition them into my fall/ winter wardrobe. What are some things that you have found while thrifting?

Breaking all the rules at work -OOTD

Hi Ladies, So today I woke up in a feisty mood. I was called into work 4 hours early and did not want to interact with anyone. Mostly for the reason that I have been working every night and I am starting to dislike my job with a passion (Fingers crossed for  hearing back from Aritzia!!!!!!!!!!!) In turn I decided that instead of wearing dress pants to work I was going to wear jeans... Here is how my outfit turned out.

Decided to roll up the jeans so it didn't look so boxy

Really bad quality loafers/boat shoes - Urban Planet

Overall work was still a drag, but I got a bunch of compliments on my outfit which makes me happy. Hope you all had a good day. Talk to you soon xx

OOTD - Shopping and sushi on yonge

My first outfit of the day! Today I went downtown with my close friend to shop, also we went to all you can eat sushi (for her first time, which to me is crazy. How can you have sushi if you aren't able to stuff yourself full?!?)

Anywho. This is my outfit! Really casual and great for the heat we've been getting the last couple of days, which for anyone outside of Toronto, it has been very hot and sticky!

Shirt - H&M / Silk Camisole - Aritzia / Denim Vest - Vintage

Here is a total overview - I just paired it with my black chucks
Hope you all are enjoying the heat while it last, I for one can not wait for fall and the amazing fashion.
